When some aquatic mammals at the zoo escaped it was otter chaos
Gooooooooood morning and welcome to Thursday waking up with KFUR in your ears. And as we are kicking things off today it’s gonna be hot. We’re talkin sun, we’re talkin 90, we’re talkin humid. So it’s gonna be a bit of a yuck day. But I have the perfect way to make it better. Today is National Pina Colada Day. Like picture this, beach, ocean, and a cold pina colada in your hand. Like what a better way to beat the heat. When you get hot, either drink more or go in the ocean. And heck, the bar is probably one of those cabana things and it’s shaded. I’d like a beach vacation now, who’s in. Also today, an important PSA, Don’t Step On A Bee Day. I mean you should never step on a bee any day. But today is to raise awareness for bee wellness. Bees are the best. Like actual bees. Not those wasps or hornets though, they can die in a fire. But before I rant too much, we’ll take a quick break and be back on your #1 station for something, KFUR.
