Gooooood morning and welcome to Monday you’re waking up with KFUR in your ears. And as we kick off the week it is cold out there again. We’re currently sitting at 5 below. Might make it to 4 above today. but the week ahead doesn’t look any more promising. 0, 3, 3. Yeah, depressing. But you know what’s not depressing? National Cream Cheese Brownie Day. And trying to find why cream cheese brownie? Well it doesn’t say. But looks like brownies themselves are dated back to 1893 at the Chicago World’s Columbian Exposition as “a cake, but only smaller.” But, not to rain on the parade, we do have to move on to that and National Umbrella Day. The colorful personal canopies are as old as civilization itself, first used to cast shade in the sun vs how we use them today to keep the rain away. But no matter how you use yours, just know, you are safe under your umbrella ‘ella ‘ella.
