Goooooood morning and welcome to Thursday you’re waking up with KFUR in your ears. And as we are getting things going today it’s nice out there now but there is a slight chance of rain this morning. Though it shouldn’t stick around for long. Just a brief shower, then the rest of the day looks pretty good. High today 71. So if it does get nice out there, you can maybe get out and enjoy National Canoe Day. I know there’s a place down by the river you can rent one and go out for a bit. Just don’t tip over, then you’d get all wet, which, I guess would just be unfortunate. Also today, National Handshake Day. And why do handshakes get a day. I’d rather have a shake in my hand than a hand shake. In fact, let’s make that a thing. National Shake Hands Day. No wait, thats the same thing. So while I figure out a way to get some shakes, we’ll take a quick break and be back on your #1 station for something, KFUR.
