Unbelievable – 363 days until Christmas and people already have their lights up!
Goooooood morning and welcome to Friday you’re waking up with KFUR in your ears. And we’re back folks. Yeah it was a decent stint of us not being around for the holiday, hope you didn’t miss us too much. But we’re back now and just in time for the weekend. And since the weather is on the up and up today, minus a little fog, we’re just going to dive right in to it. Yesterday, you might’ve missed National Candy Cane Day, which I didn’t, still got my festive on for a peppermint stick. But today is National Fruitcake Day. And despite all the jokes of them existing, I’ve never actually had one. All these years. I couldn’t honestly tell you if they are as bad a folks say. Which puts me in a group with 4.8% of people that make fun of it without ever having tried it. But as we’re approaching the weekend what’s ahead already. Well Saturday is Card Playing Day, which seems like a good family activity, or friend activity? Depending on what you’re playing and how much you like your friends and family. Then Sunday is International Cello Day. And nothing more I have to say about that I do. So as we prepare to wind down the year, we’ll talk family traditions after the break.
