Gooooood morning and welcome to Tuesday you’re waking up with KFUR in your ears. And as we get things started today I gotta say, I think September is forgetting to September. We’re looking at another high in the 80s today with plenty of humidity to go with it. But I guess if summer is going to try stick around we should be making the most of it right? Granted I’m not sure there’s anything summery going on today except the weather. First up, International Country Music Day. And what happened to country, I feel like it used to be better, now it’s all poppy and about trucks and beer. Second up on the day, National IT Professionals Day. So lets take time to thank all those that keep this station on the air. Yeah, i sit here and ramble, but someone has to keep the broadcast tower on. Pretty sure there’s more to it than a light switch. But as we transition to a break I suppose we should do something trying to be country, so stick around after the break on your #1 station for something, KFUR.
