today is off to an excellent start
Gooooood morning and welcome to Friday you’re waking up with KFUR in your ears. But it’s not just any Friday it’s Friday the 13th. Ooooo spooky. But in the spirit of it all, today is Defy Superstition Day. So get out there and walk under ladders, cross paths with a cat, break some mirrors. Just don’t let anything fall on you, trip, or cut yourself, since that would just reenforce why you shouldn’t do those things. But today is also International Chocolate Day. Maybe that will be enough to offset the bad luck. But on to this weekend, we’ve got National Cream Filled Donut Day on Saturday. A perfect day to enjoy….um…not sure I can say that on the radio. So onto Sunday is World Engineers Day. You know, the people that design and build all the things. From buildings to streets and the red lights that make my commute a pain. But that is all we have for now so we’re going to run grab a snack over the break and be back on your #1 station for something, KFUR.
